At the end of June, CCS Baltic Consortium partners Roberts Misurovs (SIA SCHWENK Latvija) and Justinas Jazbutis (AB Klaip\u0117dos Nafta) working in the cooperation with the project \u201eBuilding momentum for the long-term CCS deployment in the CEE region\u201c (CCS4CEE), participated in a strudy trip. They, for the first time, were able to witness first-hand CCS as it is deployed. The group visited CCS sites, including, the Northern Lights CO2 terminal in the fjords of Bergen. The study trip aimed to showcase CCS projects currently under development in Norway to a select group of 39 stakeholders from the Central Easter European region, including the representatives of national and local authorities, industry, civil society, and academia.<\/p>\n On 13th of September Egl\u0117 Jankauskien\u0117 (AB Akmen\u0117s cementas) participated in the final conference of the project CCS4CEE in Prague. The event brought together speakers and attendees from across Central and Eastern Europe, EU institutions, industry and NGOs.
